Strategic Framing & Product Development

Djong Paris is an emerging brand focused on bayas, revisited traditional waist beads. Entirely built and led by the founder, the brand was in its structuring and pre-launch phase during the mission. The goal: craft a strong brand identity that blends cultural heritage, aesthetic refinement and an accessible high-end positioning.

This projShaping a body jewelry brand inspired by Cameroonian heritage where baya (waist beads), worn around the waist, embodies feminine intimacy, discreet elegance, and cultural heritage. The brand is designed as a jewelry lingerie line: crafted with natural stones, positioned between sensuality, quality and accessibility.

The core challenge was to turn a creative idea into a structured product offering, one that is coherent, differentiated and grounded in strategic foundations despite limited resources.

Key Objectives

The project was driven by a strong yet unstructured vision. The goal was to bring that vision to life: transforming a personal ambition into a tangible, structured brand ready to go to market.

Key objectives included:

  • Aligning the founder’s vision with a clear positioning

  • Structuring a distinctive product range

  • Defining a pricing strategy aligned with perceived value

  • Selecting the right materials and suppliers

  • Preparing key pre-launch assets (product sheets, moodboards, planning tools)

Project Approach

The approach served as a bridge between initial intuition and operational execution. The goal wasn’t just to plan but to support the brand’s evolution while preserving its creative momentum.

Each step helped transform a creative vision into an actionable framework without losing the flexibility needed for a brand still in the making.

The mission followed four main phases:

  • Diagnosis & Framing: understanding needs, clarifying identity pillars, and defining priorities

  • Offer Structuring: defining the product line logic, positioning, pricing

  • Product Development & Branding: visual identity, product documentation, moodboards

  • Pre-launch Preparation: roadmap, marketing projections, e-commerce planning
